The Talison Lithium Greenbushes Mine site is home to the world’s premier lithium mineral asset. The lithium processing plant was commissioned in 1985 and since that time, the lithium processing facilities has expanded several times to produce a range of lithium concentrates.

In 2017 Talison Lithium commenced construction of a second large chemical grade lithium plant (CGP2) which was officially opened in 2019. C.E.M. Alliance were engaged to supply Project Management, Supervision, trades, tooling and equipment to support the Construction and Commissioning of the new Crushing and Process Plant.

Our remit was to hit the ground running, take ownership of the Electrical scope and fast track the completion of Construction and Commissioning activities for the project. From an initial core crew, our onsite team quickly grew to in excess of 100 employees on a 2 and 1 roster including Electricians, Boilermakers and Riggers.

Supported and driven by our experienced Management Team the project was completed successfully, within budget and a perfect safety record.
