Located 100kms south of Karratha in Western Australia’s resource-rich Pilbara Region, Sino Iron is the largest magnetite mining and processing operation in Australia. It is estimated that more than $51 billion will be spent on local goods and services with their specialised mineral processing facilities employing more than 3,000 direct employees and contractors.
In late 2014, C.EM. Alliance provided a self-managed, fully supervised Civil crew to undertake the construction of the Sino Iron Compressor Slab Foundations and Plinths meeting all site HSMP and Contractor Safety requirements. The project was a great success delivered by experienced management and trades including concreters, riggers, scaffolders, electricians and mobile plant operators.
